In the 2nd minute, Kandemir Zeval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bektaş Ali Kaçan made in the 6th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mezarlikbasi's Necip Fazıl Belek. Eurico Lara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özgür Baybars, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eurico Lara didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Özgür Baybars went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eurico Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atakan Vecdet in the 14th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Hulusi Ergazi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mezarlikbasi and the Yedisu players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mezarlikbasi getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hulusi Ergazi hit a great ball. In the 17th match minute, Mezarlikbasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atakan Vecdet to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Yedisu's Mehmet Emrah Geçimoğlu got a free kick in the 20th minute. Mezarlikbasi's Gökçek Sadan got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Hulusi Ergazi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Mezarlikbasi's goal looked a bit too open when Gaffar Tanver came free, but Beyhan Budaklı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Özgür Baybars managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mezarlikbasi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özgür Baybars was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Atakan Vecdet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eurico Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th match minute, Mezarlikbasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Bilge Sahir to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Rigoberto Botello could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Beyhan Budaklı however easily saved by the left post. Beyhan Budaklı didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Botello went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Kandemir Zeval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Yedisu's Rigoberto Botello got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Çağdaş Onurhan made a kick off. Beyhan Budaklı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kandemir Zeval's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute, Çağdaş Onurhan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yedisu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 59 minutes into the match, Gaffar Tanver notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Mezarlikbasi's Beyhan Budaklı. Beyhan Budaklı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 62 minutes of play, Yedisu's Çağdaş Onurhan made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beyhan Budaklı was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Mezarlikbasi's zone, Gaffar Tanver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beyhan Budaklı came out of the goal and Gaffar Tanver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 played minutes Mezarlikbasi got a freekick which was hit by Hulusi Ergazi. 67 minutes into the match, Mezarlikbasi's goal looked a bit too open when Çağdaş Onurhan came free, but Beyhan Budaklı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beyhan Budaklı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çağdaş Onurhan's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. In the 77th minute Atakan Vecdet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eurico Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mezarlikbasi defense, Gaffar Tanver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beyhan Budaklı. The Mezarlikbasi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beyhan Budaklı should have stopped the shot. Eurico Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özgür Baybars in the 85th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Mezarlikbasi got a freekick which was hit by Özgür Baybars. Beyhan Budaklı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Çağdaş Onurhan's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Yedisu had won after a very even match.
