The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tansu Kaşif hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Ata Seciye received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Başar Delioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rıfat Şaki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Tansel Ulus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kadim Ankaralı. Ayranci SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tansel Ulus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ufuk Aydınalp during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ufuk Aydınalp kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ayranci SK's attentive Kuddusî Tugay managed to snatch the ball when Tolga Tokel made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. After 26 minutes Bartın Sk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Batıkan Muhsin who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ayranci SK's corner Şevket Acıbadem fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Başar Delioğlu quite easily take care of the ball. Rıfat Şaki charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rıfat Şaki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rıfat Şaki hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Başar Delioğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ata Seciye, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes Bartın Sk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Batıkan Muhsin who took care of the corner kick. Ayranci SK's Batıkan Muhsin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Başar Delioğlu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rahmi Bucuklu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Kuddusî Tugay sped through Bartın Sk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Başar Delioğlu. Tansel Ulus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Kadim Ankaralı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After having played for 51 minutes, Tansel Ulus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bartın Sk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tansel Ulus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rıfat Şaki got free with Kadim Ankaralı in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ayranci SK's Kadim Ankaralı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tansel Ulus in the 57th minute of play. Tansel Ulus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kadim Ankaralı having to make a save. Kadim Ankaralı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rıfat Şaki in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Ata Seciye made a precise shot to the right of Başar Delioğlu. Bartın Sk's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 68 played minutes Ayranci SK got a freekick which was hit by Şevket Acıbadem. Kadim Ankaralı was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Özen Reşan. In the 71stth minute of the game Tansel Ulus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ayranci SK's Kadim Ankaralı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Yusuf Ziya Ungan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kadim Ankaralı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tansel Ulus in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tansel Ulus in the 81st minute of play forced Ayranci SK's goalkeeper Kadim Ankaralı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kadim Ankaralı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tansel Ulus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Mustafa Arif Başol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rıfat Şaki's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kadim Ankaralı firmly grabbed it by the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
