Ferit Öğün's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hilmi Özbilgin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Ferit Öğün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bican Namdar charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bican Namdar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of angaragücü booed when Palu FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bican Namdar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the game, angaragücü's Bora Tümerdem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hilmi Özbilgin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 47thth minute of the game Bora Tümerdem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palu FK's Hilmi Özbilgin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
