Osman Nuri Avşaroğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferit Öğün in the 12th minute. Artun Kıralp hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. If Ferit Öğün had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kerim Refi came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Cabbar FC's Arda Baybars Tezveren. But to his dismay, Arda Baybars Tezveren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ferit Öğün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as angaragücü's Bora Tümerdem slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Osman Nuri Avşaroğlu. That made the score 1-1 after 23 minutes of play. Cabbar FC's Osman Nuri Avşaroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bora Tümerdem in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Cabbar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artun Kıralp to maneuver through the defense. After 44 played minutes angaragücü got a freekick which was hit by Çağatay İrgun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davut Urkan in the 46th minute of play forced angaragücü's goalkeeper Kerim Refi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arda Baybars Tezveren was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Cabbar FC got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Halis Olgaç. 59 minutes into the match, angaragücü's goalkeeper Kerim Refi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Davut Urkan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arda Baybars Tezveren in the 60th minute of play forced angaragücü's goalkeeper Kerim Refi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferit Öğün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. In the 79th minute, Bora Tümerdem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zekai Fidan kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. angaragücü's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
