Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nejat Sabuncu kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Edip Karun got free with Mahir Rusuhi in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th minute Koray Özdilmaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mahir Rusuhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Koray Özdilmaç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mahir Rusuhi was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Gürün's Mahir Rusuhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koray Özdilmaç in the 12th minute of play. Mahir Rusuhi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehmet Edip Karun in the 13th minute. Gürün's Mahir Rusuhi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Gürün from getting a goal against them. Mehmet Edip Karuns short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Mahir Rusuhi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mehmet Edip Karun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 24th minute Cankut Hanönü shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orkun Mutluer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cankut Hanönü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mahir Rusuhi was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Koray Özdilmaç capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Koray Özdilmaç really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 45 minutes into the match, Gürün's goalkeeper Mahir Rusuhi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Edip Karun. After a defensive mix-up in Sultanhamam's zone, Cankut Hanönü stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orkun Mutluer came out of the goal and Cankut Hanönü tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koray Özdilmaç to make the kick off. Mustafa Hakan Akdurmuş hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gürün's zone, Koray Özdilmaç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahir Rusuhi came out of the goal and Koray Özdilmaç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Koray Özdilmaç in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mahir Rusuhi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Koray Özdilmaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Şener Refi's late challenge caught a Sultanhamam's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şener Refi helped the player get up and apologised. Mehmet Edip Karun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mahir Rusuhi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gürün's Gökhun Tezcan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Selim Akkuş was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 73rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Mahir Rusuhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Edip Karun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Koray Özdilmaç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kutay Cömert kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Orkun Mutluer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Müjdat Kahveci in the 97th minute.
