Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Refik Halit Yaybüke kicked off to start the match. 9 minutes into the match, Hopa's goal looked a bit too open when Koray Özdilmaç came free, but Sadri Tuğra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mehmet Edip Karun fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sultanhamam's protests and gave Mehmet Edip Karun a yellow card for diving instead. Mehmet Edip Karun hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Koray Özdilmaç came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Sultanhamam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koray Özdilmaç couldn't finish the play. After 19 played minutes Sultanhamam got a freekick which was hit by Ergin Sezen. In the 21st minute Refik Halit Yaybüke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orkun Mutluer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Refik Halit Yaybüke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orkun Mutluer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Refik Halit Yaybüke, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

54 minutes into the match, Hopa's goalkeeper Sadri Tuğra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Edip Karun. After 61 minutes of play, Sultanhamam's Koray Özdilmaç made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sadri Tuğra was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, Suat Yağıztekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Sultanhamam booed when Hopa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zülfü Tuğsavaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Edip Karun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sadri Tuğra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Koray Özdilmaç's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Sultanhamam's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Selim Akkuş in the 84th minute. The corner ended in Selim Akkuş almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hopa's Sadri Tuğra did a great save. 85 minutes into the game, Koray Özdilmaç recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sadri Tuğra. Koray Özdilmaç showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 90th minute, Mehmet Edip Karun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sadri Tuğra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Koray Özdilmaç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Sadri Tuğra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sultanhamam's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
