After 6 played minutes Hopa got a freekick which was hit by Suat Yağıztekin. Demir FK's Derviş Özakıncı got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hopa's Berker Altınkaya got a free kick in the 7th minute. When Feyyaz Şiraz fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Demir FK's protests and gave Feyyaz Şiraz a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Demir FK got a freekick which was hit by Feyyaz Şiraz. If Refik Halit Yaybüke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Demir FK's goal looked a bit too open when Refik Halit Yaybüke came free, but Ahmet Reha Tonguç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Avni Sıratullah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Refik Halit Yaybüke in the 30th minute of play forced Demir FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Reha Tonguç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cemal Şems's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ahmet Reha Tonguç firmly grabbed it by the left post. Refik Halit Yaybüke struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Ahmet Reha Tonguç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hopa. Avni Sıratullah hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Ahmet Reha Tonguç successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Suat Yağıztekin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Reha Tonguç having to interfere. Ahmet Reha Tonguç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Refik Halit Yaybüke in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

54 minutes into the game, Cemal Şems cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ahmet Reha Tonguç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84thth minute of the game Cemal Şems who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Demir FK's Ahmet Reha Tonguç was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th match minute, Hopa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berker Altınkaya to maneuver through the defense. After 96 minutes, Erman Başhekim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Demir FK and the Hopa players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Demir FK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Erman Başhekim hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Hopa were the better team. Hopa's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
