Bican Uğurtay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Refik Halit Yaybüke in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cemal Şems in the 28th minute of play forced Keciborlu's goalkeeper Bican Uğurtay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kutlay Sefaaddin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Keciborlu's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Refik Halit Yaybüke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hopa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
