Mahir Rusuhi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cemal Şems in the 32nd minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Berker Altınkaya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hopa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Berker Altınkaya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, one of Hopa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mahir Rusuhi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berker Altınkaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cemal Şems came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Hopa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cemal Şems couldn't finish the play. In the 77th match minute, Hopa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suat Yağıztekin to maneuver through the defense. When Gökhun Tezcan fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gürün's protests and gave Gökhun Tezcan a yellow card for diving instead. Gökhun Tezcan hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Berker Altınkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hopa booed when Gürün was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asım Arif Yurday didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zülfü Tuğsavaş took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mahir Rusuhi. Gürün's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cemal Şems struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Mahir Rusuhi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hopa. Suat Yağıztekin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mahir Rusuhi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cemal Şems in the 95th minute of play forced Gürün's goalkeeper Mahir Rusuhi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berker Altınkaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
