Corlu's Dinç Ülküm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağızalp Dalayer in the 14th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Corlu's Peyami Şanalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Artaç Ayık made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 23 minutes, Baran Bilge Aytekin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karaköy and the Corlu players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Karaköy getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Baran Bilge Aytekin hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Cemal İsrafil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karaköy's supporters rose to their feet, but Cemal İsrafil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinç Ülküm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Karaköy's Artaç Ayık proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Karaköy from getting a goal against them. Şahin Türkmen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yağızalp Dalayer in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinç Ülküm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cemal İsrafil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dinç Ülküm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Peyami Şanalp could shoot a difficult shot in the 47th minute, which Artaç Ayık however easily saved by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yağızalp Dalayer made a kick off. The supporters of Corlu booed when Karaköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Hakan Özbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute Yağızalp Dalayer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinç Ülküm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peyami Şanalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağızalp Dalayer in the 61st minute of play forced Corlu's goalkeeper Dinç Ülküm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Peyami Şanalp came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Corlu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peyami Şanalp couldn't finish the play. Artaç Ayık made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peyami Şanalp in the 68th minute of play. Şanver Sarp's late challenge caught a Karaköy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şanver Sarp helped the player get up and apologised. Şanver Sarp hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Dinç Ülküm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yağızalp Dalayer in the 80th minute of play. Peyami Şanalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artaç Ayık having to make a save. 85 minutes into the match, Corlu's goal looked a bit too open when Yağızalp Dalayer came free, but Dinç Ülküm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Peyami Şanalp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Artaç Ayık was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Şahin Türkmen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peyami Şanalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Karaköy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Corlu.
