Mustafa Barış Suyurgal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Refik Halit Şemseddin in the 17th minute of the match. Genco Reşat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Vedat Özdilek in the 20th minute. If Refik Halit Şemseddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genco Reşat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Mertoğul in the 27th minute of the match. Refik Halit Şemseddin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Barış Suyurgal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Altan Turay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Posof's Ali Vedat Özdilek got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genco Reşat was a little too slow when Ali Mertoğul got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-0. After 45 played minutes, SARSELONA's Efekan Aydın shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Suyurgal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SARSELONA reached it. If Ahmet Nedim Zihni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Vedat Özdilek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Ali Mertoğul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genco Reşat was relentless in the 54th minute of the game.
