The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alpu JK's Yiğit Can Zihni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doğuş Türek in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yağızalp Ustam in the 10th minute of play forced Kars SK's goalkeeper Tolga Kutlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alpu JK's goalkeeper Yiğit Can Zihni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Alpu JK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Bedirhan Balatürk hit a great ball. İsmet Şabi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yiğit Can Zihni. Alpu JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Zekeriya Mertkal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tolga Kutlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Kars SK's goal looked a bit too open when Zekeriya Mertkal came free, but Tolga Kutlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kars SK's zone, Zekeriya Mertkal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolga Kutlan came out of the goal and Zekeriya Mertkal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Şehzade Erzan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yiğit Can Zihni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Tolga Kutlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yağızalp Ustam in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Alpu JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Hamdi Şeref to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Şehzade Erzan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alpu JK's Yiğit Can Zihni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serhan Ulunay in the 38th minute of play. Şehzade Erzan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yiğit Can Zihni having to interfere. Yiğit Can Zihni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serhan Ulunay in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Arif Ensar Akdoğu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alpu JK's Yiğit Can Zihni didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Alpu JK's Mehmet Hamdi Şeref got a free kick in the 44th minute. With a little luck, Alpu JK's Yiğit Can Zihni got control of the ball when Şehzade Erzan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Alpu JK's goalkeeper Yiğit Can Zihni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şehzade Erzan. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Zekeriya Mertkal made the kick off in the second half. The audience cheered when Mehmet Emrah Acabey's long shot passed Tolga Kutlan's right side. It was 0-1, 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kars SK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Doğuş Türek hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the match, Alpu JK's Mehmet Emrah Acabey broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şehzade Erzan in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yiğit Can Zihni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Göktürk Usalan hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute of the match Arif Ensar Akdoğu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Yiğit Can Zihni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Serhan Ulunay notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Alpu JK's Yiğit Can Zihni. Yiğit Can Zihni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferid Başok kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Yiğit Can Zihni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Şehzade Erzan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
