Sabit Kutel struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Genco Reşat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karliova JK. 6 minutes into the match, Zeki Durkaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genco Reşat. SARSELONA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeki Durkaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Karliova JK's Zeki Durkaya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Genco Reşat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Sabit Kutel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genco Reşat was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, SARSELONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muhsin Batı to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Hayrullah Çağlayan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SARSELONA's Genco Reşat didn't even have to move. If Sabit Kutel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zeki Durkaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Genco Reşat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Karliova JK booed when SARSELONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muhsin Batı didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, SARSELONA's Mehmet Efe Tekrim broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sabit Kutel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Genco Reşat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The SARSELONA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Karliova JK were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Refik Halit Şemseddin to make the kick off. SARSELONA's Genco Reşat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabit Kutel in the 58th minute of play. Zeki Durkaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Genco Reşat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabit Kutel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Karliova JK booed when SARSELONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cabbar Özgurel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 68 minutes of play, Karliova JK's Mümtazer Engintalay made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genco Reşat was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karliova JK's Sungur Akbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Nedim Zihni in the 71st minute of play. Ahmet Nedim Zihni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sabit Kutel came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Karliova JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabit Kutel couldn't finish the play. Sabit Kutel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Şamil Özdinç managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karliova JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şamil Özdinç was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeki Durkaya in the 88th minute of play forced SARSELONA's goalkeeper Genco Reşat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karliova JK's Sabit Kutel got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Zeki Durkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karliova JK played a much better game than SARSELONA and deserved their victory. The SARSELONA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
