In the 18th minute Hüseyin Turan Ufki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sungur Akbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Karliova JK booed when DARDANEL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zekai Tuğser didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zeki Durkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Hayri Seyran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sabit Kutel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Onuralp Nabi hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Batur Semdin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 49th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hüseyin Turan Ufki to strike the kick off in the second half. If Zeki Durkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karliova JK's Sabit Kutel got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sabit Kutel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 played minutes Karliova JK got a freekick which was hit by Tuna Semavi. If Sabit Kutel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Karliova JK fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Karliova JK's Sabit Kutel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 81st minute, Sabit Kutel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Batur Semdin was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Batur Semdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabit Kutel, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Saruhan Akıncı's late challenge caught a Karliova JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saruhan Akıncı helped the player get up and apologised. Saruhan Akıncı hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match.
