Genco Reşat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aktuğ Ozansu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Aktuğ Ozansu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Refik Halit Şemseddin in the 36th minute of play forced Aralik SK's goalkeeper Resul Berksoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aralik SK! Genco Reşat made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Ceyhan Yakup sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceyhan Yakup to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Aralik SK got a freekick which was hit by Doğuş Eroğul. Resul Berksoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Refik Halit Şemseddin in the 53rd minute of play. Doğuş Eroğul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Reşat having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Ceyhan Yakup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doğuş Eroğul in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genco Reşat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Genco Reşat stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceyhan Yakup's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Vahdet Arkın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aralik SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Vahdet Arkın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genco Reşat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to SARSELONA getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Muhsin Batı hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğuş Eroğul in the 82nd minute of play forced SARSELONA's goalkeeper Genco Reşat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Ahmet Nedim Zihni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SARSELONA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Nedim Zihni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceyhan Yakup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genco Reşat having to interfere. If Güvenç Cinel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
