Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Karsiyaka's Baran Bilge Tenzil started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Haydar İrgun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Rıza Azer in the 2nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Karsiyaka's Ilgaz Yengi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bekir Çevikcan. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ömer Rıza Azer managed to get in a good position for a shot. MeydanSpor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ömer Rıza Azer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haydar İrgun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The nice shot from Ilgaz Yengi in the 13thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Bekir Çevikcan had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Bekir Çevikcan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilgaz Yengi in the 15th minute. If Kenan Eskici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MeydanSpor's İsmail Hakkı Baransel got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korcan Akartuna in the 20th minute of play forced Karsiyaka's goalkeeper Haydar İrgun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute İsmail Hakkı Baransel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haydar İrgun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MeydanSpor's Ömer Rıza Azer got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 played minutes Karsiyaka got a freekick which was hit by Levent Kerim. When MeydanSpor's Ömer Rıza Azer in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karsiyaka's goalie prevented a goal. Ömer Rıza Azer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haydar İrgun having to interfere. Haydar İrgun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İsmail Hakkı Baransel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Kenan Eskici ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haydar İrgun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 41 minutes into the game, MeydanSpor's Korcan Akartuna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Haydar İrgun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ömer Rıza Azer made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Karsiyaka's goalkeeper Haydar İrgun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bekir Çevikcan came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Karsiyaka's Haşim Sümre. But to his dismay, Haşim Sümre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in MeydanSpor's zone, Ilgaz Yengi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bekir Çevikcan came out of the goal and Ilgaz Yengi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bekir Çevikcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baran Bilge Tenzil, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karsiyaka's goalkeeper Haydar İrgun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Haydar İrgun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Rıza Azer in the 70th minute of the match. Haydar İrgun came out of the goal and İsmail Hakkı Baransel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Kenan Eskici kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Haydar İrgun. That made the score 2-3 in the 72 minute of play. In the 77th minute, Haşim Sümre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kenan Eskici might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haydar İrgun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kenan Eskici ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the game, Haşim Sümre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Bekir Çevikcan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gökhan Erboğa hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When İsmail Hakkı Baransel came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the MeydanSpor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that İsmail Hakkı Baransel couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Karsiyaka's Haydar İrgun got control of the ball when Kenan Eskici tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Baran Bilge Tenzil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bekir Çevikcan was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Kenan Eskici who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Haydar İrgun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 94 played minutes Karsiyaka got a freekick which was hit by Haşim Sümre.
