Halit Fahri Resat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Karabal Spor getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Mehmet Emin Adısönmez hit a great ball. Halit Fahri Resat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baha Yaşanur, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With his leg Gencay İdrisoğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Karabal Spor's Şakir Seciye fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 33 in the game by Şakir Seciye from a close distance when the talented Gencay İdrisoğlu managed to make a qualified save. Kattegat FC's players were relieved. Ahmet Talik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencay İdrisoğlu having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Nusret Nafiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kattegat FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karabal Spor the free kick. After 37 played minutes Kattegat FC got a freekick which was hit by Nusret Nafiz. Gencay İdrisoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Talik in the 38th minute of the match. Ahmet Talik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gencay İdrisoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ahmet Talik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karabal Spor's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Talik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gencay İdrisoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Latif Tulunay hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half Kattegat FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emran Özger made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Şakir Seciye managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karabal Spor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şakir Seciye was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Talik took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gencay İdrisoğlu. Gencay İdrisoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ahmet Talik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gencay İdrisoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Karabal Spor's goal looked a bit too open when Emran Özger came free, but Halit Fahri Resat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Şakir Seciye managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karabal Spor's supporters rose to their feet, but Şakir Seciye was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gencay İdrisoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Baha Yaşanur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Talik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencay İdrisoğlu having to interfere. Gencay İdrisoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Talik in the 77th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kattegat FC defense, Ahmet Talik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gencay İdrisoğlu. The Kattegat FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gencay İdrisoğlu should have stopped the shot. Karabal Spor's Mehmet Akif Kargin got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Kattegat FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Karabal Spor from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
