Hakkı Onur Akkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yenal Tacir in the 14th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Azdavay SK's Ahmet Kadri Kaim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hakkı Onur Akkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Yenal Tacir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Azdavay SK's Hakkı Deniz Başok got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes, Cide spor's Ahmet Hamdi Tunçbay shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Boran Savlet came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cide spor reached it. In the 29th minute, Ahmet Kadri Kaim made a precise shot to the right of Hakkı Onur Akkan. Cide spor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Kadri Kaim in the 34th minute of play forced Cide spor's goalkeeper Hakkı Onur Akkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes in the game, Aykan Şahbaz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Boran Savlet having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Kadri Kaim to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cide spor's zone, Erkin İltekin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hakkı Onur Akkan came out of the goal and Erkin İltekin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sacit Tokuztuğ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Boran Savlet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Ruhi Şencan made a precise shot to the right of Hakkı Onur Akkan. Cide spor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Ahmet Kadri Kaim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yenal Tacir got free with Hakkı Onur Akkan in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruhi Şencan charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruhi Şencan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Azdavay SK's Boran Savlet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aykan Şahbaz in the 68th minute of play. Azdavay SK's Ruhi Şencan got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Kadri Kaim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hakkı Onur Akkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cide spor's zone, Ruhi Şencan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hakkı Onur Akkan came out of the goal and Ruhi Şencan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Hamdi Tunçbay hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ahmet Kadri Kaim might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hakkı Onur Akkan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Kadri Kaim ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 79th minute by Ahmet Kadri Kaim got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ruhi Şencan might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hakkı Onur Akkan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruhi Şencan ran back to his position shaking his head. Yenal Tacir struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Hakkı Onur Akkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azdavay SK. After a rather tough play, Azdavay SK's Ruhi Şencan got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Ahmet Kadri Kaim fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 92nd minute, Ruhi Şencan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hakkı Onur Akkan. The goal made the score 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruhi Şencan in the 96th minute of play forced Cide spor's goalkeeper Hakkı Onur Akkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azdavay SK played a much better game than Cide spor and deserved their victory. The Cide spor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
