In the 38th minute Rahim Geylani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bayındır Yıldıray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, İlhan Onurhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alp Şanlı charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Şenel Zeynur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayındır Yıldıray having to interfere. Ahmet Ziya Şafak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Şentürk, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, Karpuzlu SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özden Mutlu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rahim Geylani in the 81st minute of play forced ElitSpor FC's goalkeeper Bayındır Yıldıray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
