After a defensive mix-up in Kekova's zone, Gafur Cuma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdurrahman Akarslan came out of the goal and Gafur Cuma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gafur Cuma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuralp Yalım could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Abdurrahman Akarslan made a huge save. Coşkun Keşif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eşref Uluçkan having to interfere. Coşkun Keşif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Eşref Uluçkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuralp Yalım got free with Abdurrahman Akarslan in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sinan Kınık took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abdurrahman Akarslan. Kekova's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gafur Cuma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alim Azimoğlu in the 24th minute of play forced BastırAnkaragücü's goalkeeper Eşref Uluçkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdurrahman Akarslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gafur Cuma in the 26th minute of the match. Abdurrahman Akarslan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BastırAnkaragücü. After having played for 33 minutes, Nuralp Yalım managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BastırAnkaragücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuralp Yalım was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nuralp Yalım received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Abdurrahman Akarslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Kekova's Abdurrahman Akarslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuralp Yalım in the 53rd minute of play. Abdurrahman Akarslan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gafur Cuma in the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the game, BastırAnkaragücü's Gafur Cuma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdurrahman Akarslan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Kekova's Arda Baybars Erseç got a free kick in the 61st minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Coşkun Keşif managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kekova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Coşkun Keşif was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, BastırAnkaragücü's Eşref Uluçkan got control of the ball when Coşkun Keşif tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 67 played minutes BastırAnkaragücü got a freekick which was hit by Sezer Kalender. Eşref Uluçkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alim Azimoğlu in the 69th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Sezer Kalender mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BastırAnkaragücü and the Kekova players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Sezer Kalender hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coşkun Keşif's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eşref Uluçkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. When Coşkun Keşif came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Kekova fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coşkun Keşif couldn't finish the play. Gafur Cuma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Abdurrahman Akarslan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Şemsettin Mecit fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kekova's protests and gave Şemsettin Mecit a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Kekova got a freekick which was hit by Şemsettin Mecit. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BastırAnkaragücü fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kekova had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
