In the 27th minute, Şensoy Betim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rüstem Taştekin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boğaç Kadrican's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Rüstem Taştekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boğaç Kadrican, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ataol İftihar in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rüstem Taştekin saved Gaziantep SK from getting behind. In the 41st match minute, PışPış Gücü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sercan Ongay to maneuver through the defense. When Tahsin Akçiçek came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the PışPış Gücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tahsin Akçiçek couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

PışPış Gücü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ataol İftihar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ateş Sarvan went to the wrong direction when Yavuz Bülent Orgun was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With 82 minutes on the clock, Şentürk Yazargil commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Gaziantep SK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PışPış Gücü:s goal. The goalkeeper, Rüstem Taştekin, was totally fooled by PışPış Gücü's Sercan Ongay, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Boğaç Kadrican managed to get in a good position for a shot. PışPış Gücü's supporters rose to their feet, but Boğaç Kadrican was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rüstem Taştekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ataol İftihar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Boğaç Kadrican had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PışPış Gücü played a much better game than Gaziantep SK and deserved their victory. The Gaziantep SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
