İspençiyar FK's İzzettin Aydınalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save İspençiyar FK from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vural Bilgetürk made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Vural Bilgetürk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. İzzettin Aydınalp was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The İspençiyar FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that İzzettin Aydınalp should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, İspençiyar FK's goal looked a bit too open when Merih Demiral came free, but İzzettin Aydınalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enis Yılkan's late challenge caught a İspençiyar FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
