After a rather tough play, Hamit FC's Mustafa İnanır got a free kick in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ekber Sağlam in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Behlül Bayrak saved Hamit FC from getting behind. A collision led to Osmaniye getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Peyami Doğanlar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mesut Aktaşlıoğlu in the 25th minute of play forced Osmaniye's goalkeeper Şenel Taygar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Hamit FC's zone, Ekber Sağlam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Behlül Bayrak came out of the goal and Ekber Sağlam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamit FC's goalkeeper Behlül Bayrak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Osmaniye's Bahadır Özerkmen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Behlül Bayrak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bahadır Özerkmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Behlül Bayrak having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ekber Sağlam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Behlül Bayrak was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
