Spectators: 7194 (Terracing: 5397, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ahmet Erdem Kaman got the match started through his kick off. Derviş Dengiz's late challenge caught a Bahce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Derviş Dengiz helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Battalgazi got a freekick which was hit by Azmi Afşaroğlu. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Erdem Kaman during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bahce's Ahmet Erdem Kaman got a free kick in the 13th minute. Vahap Pirane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Tamkut having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Battalgazi's Necdet Haznedaroğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anıl Tamkut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd match minute, Battalgazi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Azmi Afşaroğlu to maneuver through the defense. Erdem Akbayrak came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Bahce's Ragıp Ağca. But to his dismay, Ragıp Ağca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Yıldırım Taşkın kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Battalgazi's Erdem Akbayrak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Erdem Kaman in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Battalgazi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökmen Tanver to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Bahce were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

60 minutes into the match, Battalgazi's goalkeeper Erdem Akbayrak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ragıp Ağca. Necdet Haznedaroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bahce's Ahmet Erdem Kaman got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 played minutes Battalgazi got a freekick which was hit by Azmi Afşaroğlu. Erdem Akbayrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Erdem Kaman in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Necdet Haznedaroğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Battalgazi's supporters rose to their feet, but Necdet Haznedaroğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anıl Tamkut breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mehmet Bedri Avşaroğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Necdet Haznedaroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mehmet Bedri Avşaroğlu hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 89 minutes into the game, when Cankut Dilsuz put in a rough tackle. After 90 played minutes Battalgazi got a freekick which was hit by Cankut Dilsuz. With a little luck, Battalgazi's Erdem Akbayrak got control of the ball when Ragıp Ağca tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Bahce players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Battalgazi from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
