To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Erdem Kaman in the 74th minute of play forced Guniz FK's goalkeeper Carlos Telesforo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Guniz FK's goal looked a bit too open when Ragıp Ağca came free, but Carlos Telesforo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anıl Tamkut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferid Muhtar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sever Petrulean might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anıl Tamkut. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sever Petrulean ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sever Petrulean got free with Anıl Tamkut in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
