After 23 played minutes Osmaniye got a freekick which was hit by Peyami Doğanlar. If Bahadır Özerkmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ragıp Ağca in the 74th minute of play forced Osmaniye's goalkeeper Şenel Taygar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Ekber Sağlam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osmaniye's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ekber Sağlam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anıl Tamkut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ekber Sağlam, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Bahce's goal looked a bit too open when Ekber Sağlam came free, but Anıl Tamkut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Bahadır Özerkmen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anıl Tamkut was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Bahce fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Osmaniye were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
