But to his dismay, Ragıp Ağca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Nurtekin Tekrim kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Ahmet Ege Cihaner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Anıl Tamkut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Ahmet Ege Cihaner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beylerbeyi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Ege Cihaner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Erdem Kaman in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cuma Pala saved Beylerbeyi from getting behind. In the 26th minute, Ragıp Ağca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Beylerbeyi's Yahya Kemal Kotuzhan got a free kick in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Erdem Kaman in the 29th minute of play forced Beylerbeyi's goalkeeper Cuma Pala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuma Pala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nurtekin Tekrim in the 31st minute. When Nuri Yaşer came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Beylerbeyi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuri Yaşer couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Ragıp Ağca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cuma Pala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
