Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ekber Sağlam started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Selçuk Tutku got free with Şenel Taygar in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Soner Cansal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekber Sağlam in the 6th minute of play. A collision led to Osmaniye getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Peyami Doğanlar hit a great ball. Ahmet Turan Demren's late challenge caught a Osmaniye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Turan Demren helped the player get up and apologised. Idil FK's Soner Cansal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahadır Özerkmen in the 46th minute of play. Ahmet Turan Demren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şenel Taygar having to interfere. After the first half Osmaniye were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Turan Demren was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ekber Sağlam in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Soner Cansal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Idil FK's Selçuk Tutku got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Soner Cansal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bahadır Özerkmen in the 62nd minute. Selçuk Tutku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Şenel Taygar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peyami Doğanlar kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Osmaniye's Ekber Sağlam was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 78th minute, Sungur Dursunali hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ekber Sağlam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. In the 87th match minute, Osmaniye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Utku Kökşin to maneuver through the defense. If Ekber Sağlam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Osmaniye players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
