Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erol İşcan started the match with the kick off. Hamza Tuğtaşı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bornova! The audience was convinced that Erol İşcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Soner Cansal was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Sungurhan Arkın hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Erol İşcan notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Idil FK's Soner Cansal. Soner Cansal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Soner Cansal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erol İşcan in the 16th minute of the match. Soner Cansal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamza Tuğtaşı, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Soner Cansal came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bornova's Hamza Tuğtaşı. But to his dismay, Hamza Tuğtaşı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 25th match minute, Bornova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berat Kumuk to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Bornova's zone, Selçuk Tutku stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hazım Keyfer came out of the goal and Selçuk Tutku tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Idil FK booed when Bornova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cahit Coşkun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Erol İşcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Selçuk Tutku got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Soner Cansal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erol İşcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Bornova booed when Idil FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Behlül Zübeyir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soner Cansal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erol İşcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, one of Idil FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Idil FK.

If Erol İşcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Behlül Zübeyir fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Idil FK's protests and gave Behlül Zübeyir a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Idil FK's Behlül Zübeyir got a free kick in the 64th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Ahmet Turan Demren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Hazım Keyfer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ahmet Turan Demren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 98th minute, Kutluay Tuğcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
