Recai İnanır started the match with the kick off. Taci Özsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Özkan Yay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rasim İlkim charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rasim İlkim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ercis booed when Azdavay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasim İlkim didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rüstem Akar during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rüstem Akar kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Taci Özsan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özkan Yay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recai İnanır in the 17th minute of play. Özkan Yay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Recai İnanır in the 20th minute of the match. Hadi Yurtsever's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Orhan Saye skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Orhan Saye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasim İlkim in the 24th minute of play. Orhan Saye made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hadi Yurtsever in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Ercis's Mehmet Hamdi Diriğ got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Eşref İcmal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orhan Saye skillfully saved the ball. In the 33rd minute, Recai İnanır ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Özkan Yay was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Özkan Yay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Recai İnanır's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The supporters of Azdavay booed when Ercis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Recai İnanır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orhan Saye was a little too slow when Batuğ Sipahi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 49th minute. The score was now 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Hadi Yurtsever in the 59th minute of play forced Ercis's goalkeeper Orhan Saye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Hadi Yurtsever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fahrettin Korhan charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fahrettin Korhan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Ercis got a freekick which was hit by Fahrettin Korhan. Ercis's attentive Mehmet Hamdi Diriğ managed to snatch the ball when Gökalp Lokman made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 75th minute Hadi Yurtsever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orhan Saye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orhan Saye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasim İlkim in the 83rd minute of the match. Taci Özsan took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Özkan Yay. Özkan Yay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Taci Özsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Özkan Yay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Ercis's Özkan Yay threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Recai İnanır, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Taci Özsan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Özkan Yay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Recai İnanır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özkan Yay having to interfere. Ercis were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Azdavay to leave the ground with a draw.
