Özkan Yay was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gencer Usta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Gencer Usta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Azdavay's zone, Sakut Mutlugün stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Özkan Yay came out of the goal and Sakut Mutlugün tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Özkan Yay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencer Usta in the 26th minute of play. When Rasim İlkim came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Azdavay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rasim İlkim couldn't finish the play. İstemihan Sarih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hadi Yurtsever in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Azdavay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gökalp Lokman to maneuver through the defense. Özkan Yay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencer Usta, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gürbüz Tanzer scored 3-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Özkan Yay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
