Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The referee ignored Güneş Futbol Kulübü's protests and gave Atilla Bumin Kaplan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, Güneş Futbol Kulübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilla Bumin Kaplan to maneuver through the defense. Güner Uğurlubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Nedim İltemir in the 13th minute of play. When Demirhan Mevlit came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Basmakci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Demirhan Mevlit couldn't finish the play. Salih Barçın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatemi Yalaza having to interfere. In the 25th minute Ahmet Nedim İltemir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güner Uğurlubay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 29 in the game by Demirhan Mevlit from a close distance when the talented Hatemi Yalaza managed to make a qualified save. Güneş Futbol Kulübü's players were relieved. Demirhan Mevlit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Güneş Futbol Kulübü booed when Basmakci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Halil Utku Baloğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Demirhan Mevlit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hatemi Yalaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hatemi Yalaza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demirhan Mevlit in the 40th minute of play. Güner Uğurlubay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cenap Türker in the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Cenap Türker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Güner Uğurlubay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

54 minutes into the game, Rahim Akalın was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Güneş Futbol Kulübü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basmakci the free kick. In the 54th minute, Rahim Akalın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hatemi Yalaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demirhan Mevlit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Nedim İltemir in the 67th minute of play forced Basmakci's goalkeeper Güner Uğurlubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Güneş Futbol Kulübü's Cenap Türker got a free kick in the 69th minute. Basmakci's Demirhan Mevlit got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atilla Bumin Kaplan hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Hatemi Yalaza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Demirhan Mevlit's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Demirhan Mevlit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hatemi Yalaza was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Atilla Bumin Kaplan hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Davut Serol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hatemi Yalaza having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Demirhan Mevlit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hatemi Yalaza was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
