In the 13th minute of the match Atalay İlsev sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but İstemihan Sarih skillfully saved the ball. GALATASARAYIM's Mahir Horasan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencer Usta in the 22nd minute of play. Mahir Horasan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürbüz Tanzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 67th match minute, Rose Shield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kamber Tekinel to maneuver through the defense. İlkan Şemsi might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İstemihan Sarih. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After recieving a nice pass, Rose Shield's Faruk Nafiz Salti tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arda Göksel Hürsev during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 78 minutes into the game, Sakut Mutlugün was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rose Shield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAYIM the free kick. A collision led to Rose Shield getting a freekick after 79 minutes play.
