The referee ignored Rose Shield's protests and gave Gürbüz Tanzer a yellow card for diving instead. If Gencer Usta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serdar Şahinalp during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Ercis got a freekick which was hit by Serdar Şahinalp. Recai İnanır blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without İstemihan Sarih having to make a save. Gürbüz Tanzer was shown his second yellow card after 16 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Orhan Saye made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Kamber Tekinel sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Taci Özsan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rose Shield's İstemihan Sarih. İstemihan Sarih was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fahrettin Korhan charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Orhan Saye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakut Mutlugün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gencer Usta hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ercis's Recai İnanır got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the game, Osman Ali Kayral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rose Shield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ercis the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rose Shield's Osman Ali Kayral got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 77 minutes, Coşkun Şahoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ercis and the Rose Shield players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Mehmet Hamdi Diriğ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ercis played a much better game than Rose Shield and deserved their victory. The Rose Shield players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
