Bayındır SK's Ahmet Baki Bengialp got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Bayındır SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Can Sendur was the one to do the kick off. When Akif İlbaşı in the 80th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Atay Erginay kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-3 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole.
