Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Eceabat's Nuralp Seyyid started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özden Serim in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gürol Cenger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gürol Cenger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berk Çetinalp in the 8th minute of play. Orhan Seyfi Semavi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmet Ezgü having to interfere. Gürol Cenger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özden Serim in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th match minute, Eceabat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mesut Akboy to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes Eceabat got a freekick which was hit by Seyhun Bakırcıoğlu. 28 minutes into the match, Eceabat's goal looked a bit too open when Özden Serim came free, but Gürol Cenger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Berk Çetinalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürol Cenger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Özden Serim took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gürol Cenger. Gürol Cenger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berk Çetinalp in the 34th minute of play forced Eceabat's goalkeeper Gürol Cenger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Eceabat's zone, Özden Serim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gürol Cenger came out of the goal and Özden Serim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Eceabat's goal looked a bit too open when Özden Serim came free, but Gürol Cenger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Berk Çetinalp made the kick off in the second half. If Özden Serim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samet Ökten hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Berk Çetinalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gürol Cenger came out and tried to block the shot, but Berk Çetinalp slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 61st minute. When Mustafa Ali Usta fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eceabat's protests and gave Mustafa Ali Usta a yellow card for diving instead. Gürol Cenger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berk Çetinalp in the 69th minute of play. Özden Serim's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Gürol Cenger skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 71st match minute, Cildir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilgin Mutluhan to maneuver through the defense. Nuralp Seyyid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İsmet Ezgü having to interfere. Mesut Akboy hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
