After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Kılıçalp Özkaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furnacer FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kılıçalp Özkaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İzzettin Asutay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gökalp Sefer struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Battal Seyyit Nevzat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karahan. 21 minutes into the match, Furnacer FC's goalkeeper Battal Seyyit Nevzat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mansur Erkinay. 34 minutes into the game, Gökalp Sefer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Battal Seyyit Nevzat. Gökalp Sefer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 38 minutes into the match, Mansur Erkinay dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Battal Seyyit Nevzat, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emrullah Seçkiner during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Emrullah Seçkiner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute of the match Hüseyin Turan İçöz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but İzzettin Asutay skillfully saved the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Furnacer FC's Alim Konuralp in the 75th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but İzzettin Asutay was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Karahan through an amazing save. Kılıçalp Özkayas short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got İzzettin Asutay to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Furnacer FC's Battal Seyyit Nevzat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökalp Sefer in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Gökalp Sefer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mansur Erkinay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Battal Seyyit Nevzat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökalp Sefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Çağrı Yılkan hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Battal Seyyit Nevzat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mansur Erkinay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
