Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gençlik's İzzettin Umut started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Beşir Ballıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antalya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beşir Ballıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gazanfer Özcan Çağar kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If İzzettin Umut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galip Bostancıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Antalya's zone, Ahmet Ali Genç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abuzer Ulucağ came out of the goal and Ahmet Ali Genç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute, İzzettin Umut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abuzer Ulucağ was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Ahmet Ali Genç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abuzer Ulucağ. Antalya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Ali Genç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 34 minutes into the match, Antalya's Galip Bostancıoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Veysel Laçin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Galip Bostancıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saltuk Koçyiğit took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abuzer Ulucağ. Antalya's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Galip Bostancıoğlu made a kick off. Semih İspinoz's late challenge caught a Antalya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Semih İspinoz helped the player get up and apologised. Semih İspinoz kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Beşir Ballıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Veysel Laçin having to interfere. İzzettin Umut hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ahmet Ali Genç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abuzer Ulucağ having to make a save. Ahmet Ali Genç struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Abuzer Ulucağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gençlik. If Galip Bostancıoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veysel Laçin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Galip Bostancıoğlu went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 80th match minute, Antalya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şenel İplikçi to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Kuddusî Dölek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veysel Laçin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galip Bostancıoğlu in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Abdi Saygın Özdilek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gençlik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antalya the free kick. In the 88th match minute, Gençlik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdi Saygın Özdilek to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beşir Ballıoğlu in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veysel Laçin saved Gençlik from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Burak İkbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Gençlik players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
