Abdullatif İsmihans short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got Eser Ünalmış to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eser Ünalmış made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derya Çiftçi in the 7th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Eser Ünalmış successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Derya Çiftçi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eser Ünalmış having to interfere. Nuskent's Derya Çiftçi got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 24 played minutes bafraa got a freekick which was hit by Okaner Özdoğan. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Eser Ünalmış successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Ahmet Bülent Çağakan came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the bafraa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Bülent Çağakan couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdullatif İsmihan to make the kick off. A hard, long distance shot from Derya Çiftçi flew over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Barış Selçuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Nuskent booed when bafraa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Bülent Çağakan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuskent's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Bülent Çağakan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The audience was convinced that Abdullatif İsmihan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eser Ünalmış was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nuskent fans cheered their team off the field, for while bafraa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
