Kerim Baytüze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Ali Genç in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Republic of Fenerbahce's Mehmet Fatih İlksel made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Veysel Laçin was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 22 played minutes Republic of Fenerbahce got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Fatih İlksel. A collision led to Republic of Fenerbahce getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Kandemir Niğdeli hit a great ball. Oğuzhan Uluerkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute of the match Erhan İzgi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Veysel Laçin skillfully saved the ball. Kandemir Niğdeli kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Kerim Baytüze took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İzzettin Umut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gençlik's İzzettin Umut in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oğuzhan Uluerkan to strike the kick off in the second half. Republic of Fenerbahce's Kerim Baytüze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İzzettin Umut in the 51st minute of play. When Oğuzhan Uluerkan came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Republic of Fenerbahce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oğuzhan Uluerkan couldn't finish the play. Veysel Laçin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuzhan Uluerkan in the 56th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Erhan İzgi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. İzzettin Umut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Kandemir Niğdeli was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 62 minutes had been played. Gençlik's Kuddusî Dölek couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Republic of Fenerbahce. 67 minutes into the match, Gençlik's Ahmet Ali Genç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kerim Baytüze narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ahmet Ali Genç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paşa Ali Ilgın didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Republic of Fenerbahce's goal looked a bit too open when İzzettin Umut came free, but Kerim Baytüze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Gençlik booed when Republic of Fenerbahce was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzhan Uluerkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When İzzettin Umut fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gençlik's protests and gave İzzettin Umut a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gençlik getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. İzzettin Umut hit a great ball. Mehmet Fatih İlksel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Veysel Laçin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
