In the 16th minute Cengiz Zorlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beyhan Zeyyat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cengiz Zorlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beyhan Zeyyat having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cengiz Zorlu in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beyhan Zeyyat saved Serik FK from getting behind. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Serik FK's goalkeeper Beyhan Zeyyat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ciftlikköy booed when Serik FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çakır Temirhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cengiz Zorlu might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beyhan Zeyyat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ciftlikköy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serik FK the free kick. When the match had been going on for 37 minutes, Serik FK's Mehmet Edip Sakman got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. The Serik FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beyhan Zeyyat should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bican Sıbgatullah made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cengiz Zorlu in the 53rd minute of play forced Serik FK's goalkeeper Beyhan Zeyyat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kuzey Şemseddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
