Tamer Tekinalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertuğrul Akhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abayhan Özcan in the 9th minute of play forced Kayseri Zerezek Spor's goalkeeper Tamer Tekinalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Ahmet İlhan Toralp sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Hayrullah Kutan threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ahmet İlhan Toralp this time. After a rather tough play, NUSAYBİNİM's Demircan İskenderoğlu got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hasret Semavi in the 16th managed to get into a good position. Abayhan Özcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tamer Tekinalp having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abayhan Özcan in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tamer Tekinalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. NUSAYBİNİM's Abayhan Özcan got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yiğitcan Zoral during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave NUSAYBİNİM a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sabit Özgunes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Kayseri Zerezek Spor's Tamer Tekinalp. 0-1. Ertuğrul Akhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Tamer Tekinalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, NUSAYBİNİM's Abayhan Özcan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tamer Tekinalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ertuğrul Akhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half NUSAYBİNİM were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ertuğrul Akhan made a kick off. NUSAYBİNİM's Ertuğrul Akhan got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muhittin Ulucağ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Necati Taykoç kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ahmet İlhan Toralp, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With his leg Tamer Tekinalp managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when NUSAYBİNİM's Abayhan Özcan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Kayseri Zerezek Spor's zone, Abayhan Özcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tamer Tekinalp came out of the goal and Abayhan Özcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The NUSAYBİNİM supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing NUSAYBİNİM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
