Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bican Sonalp in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Azmi Dede prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, SAORAL's Semih Kanber got a free kick in the 8th minute. Semih Kanber's late challenge caught a Ulus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yusuf Ekin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 11th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şeref Nebahattin got free with Oğuzhan Ağyar in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bican Sonalp in the 19th minute of play forced Ulus's goalkeeper Azmi Dede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Bican Sonalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azmi Dede saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dilaver Ahi hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Arif Buğra Cangun's late challenge caught a Ulus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Thanks to some nice moves Şeref Nebahattin could shoot a difficult shot in the 30th minute, which Oğuzhan Ağyar however easily saved by the left post. After 31 played minutes Ulus got a freekick which was hit by Şeref Nebahattin. Ulus's Azmi Dede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raşit Şenyurt in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Ulus's goal looked a bit too open when Bican Sonalp came free, but Azmi Dede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raşit Şenyurt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Azmi Dede having to make a save. Bican Sonalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Raşit Şenyurt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Azmi Dede was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Ulus players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SAORAL were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bican Sonalp was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ulus's goal looked a bit too open when Bican Sonalp came free, but Azmi Dede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raşit Şenyurt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azmi Dede made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bican Sonalp in the 61st minute. If Bican Sonalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bican Sonalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Azmi Dede took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raşit Şenyurt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Bican Sonalp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 93rd match minute, SAORAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bican Sonalp to maneuver through the defense. Şeref Nebahattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzhan Ağyar having to interfere.
