Kemalettin Polatkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özgür Yağızbay in the 35th minute of play. After some careless play in the Kangal defense, Berkin Sarı kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erman Namık. The Kangal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erman Namık should have stopped the shot. Lagaluga's Kemalettin Polatkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Yağızbay in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Özgür Yağızbay made the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Lagaluga got a freekick which was hit by Alptuğ Timur. Kangal's Özgür Yağızbay got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Kangal's goal looked a bit too open when Berkin Sarı came free, but Erman Namık reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute of the game Alptuğ Timur made a throw-in which Berkin Sarı played forward. After 71 played minutes Lagaluga got a freekick which was hit by Yalçın Şahinhan. After 72 minutes, Berkin Sarı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lagaluga and the Kangal players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kangal booed when Lagaluga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkin Sarı didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Kangal were awarded a corner. Mirza Aktar went to the cornerflag to take it. Atak Totuk in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Kangal's zone, Berkin Sarı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erman Namık came out of the goal and Berkin Sarı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mirza Aktar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. The supporters of Kangal booed when Lagaluga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samet Sayrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özgür Yağızbays short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Kemalettin Polatkan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kangal were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
