The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Doruk Özertan came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Serhat Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doruk Özertan couldn't finish the play. After having played for 27 minutes, Doruk Özertan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serhat Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doruk Özertan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Ecevit Altunç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yahya Turay was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Abdulmelik Haylaz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ecevit Altunç in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yahya Turay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Doruk Özertan in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yahya Turay, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 59 minutes into the match, Haldun Uzgoren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Necdet Başkara. Serhat Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haldun Uzgoren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Abdullatif Ersan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Necdet Başkara having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Serhat Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Asım Tanalp to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match, Doruk Özertan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yahya Turay was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Finike JK's Yahya Turay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Finike JK from getting a goal against them. Necdet Başkara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haldun Uzgoren in the 91st minute of play. Galip Usare hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, Finike JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdullatif Ersan to maneuver through the defense. Çağlar Tunak charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Çağlar Tunak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Serhat Fc's Çağlar Tunak got a free kick in the 98th minute.
