In the 20th minute of the match, Kemalettin Işıklar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Selami İmralı saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emin Ortun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Gökalp Kutam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Atıf Atasagun got free with Selami İmralı in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 32 minutes, Yahya Kemal Afgan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodrum Kalesi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yahya Kemal Afgan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Büyükorhan SK's Emin Ortun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yahya Kemal Afgan in the 36th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Arslan Arıhan made in the 57th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Çağlar Temizsoy. If Yahya Kemal Afgan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Büyükorhan SK's Emin Ortun got control of the ball when Yahya Kemal Afgan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 61st minute, Bodrum Kalesi's Yahya Kemal Afgan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. In the 64th minute Yahya Eski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Selami İmralı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Yahya Eski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Nuri Tapık received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Ali Atıf Atasagun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Selami İmralı was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Nuri Tapık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emin Ortun having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Bodrum Kalesi got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Gökalp Kutam. If Yahya Eski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Selami İmralı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yahya Eski, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Büyükorhan SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bodrum Kalesi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
