The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Ali Atıf Atasagun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yahya Eski struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ensar Kayı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Büyükorhan SK. 10 minutes into the game, Yahya Eski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ensar Kayı was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in NewMollaCity's zone, Kemalettin Işıklar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ensar Kayı came out of the goal and Kemalettin Işıklar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Yahya Eski put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ensar Kayı. In the 31st minute, Ali Atıf Atasagun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ensar Kayı was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 35 minutes into the match, NewMollaCity's goal looked a bit too open when Yahya Eski came free, but Ensar Kayı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Servet Arınç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Arif Bilge Arslanoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. NewMollaCity's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Bilge Arslanoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emin Ortun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emin Ortun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Servet Arınç in the 41st minute of play. Büyükorhan SK's Emin Ortun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Büyükorhan SK from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Atıf Atasagun in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ensar Kayı saved NewMollaCity from getting behind. Ensar Kayı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Atıf Atasagun, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Büyükorhan SK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Servet Arınç stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emin Ortun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Bilge Arslanoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Büyükorhan SK's Kemalettin Işıklar got a free kick in the 60th minute. If Ali Atıf Atasagun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Servet Arınç in the 69th minute of play forced Büyükorhan SK's goalkeeper Emin Ortun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Büyükorhan SK's Atilla Salik shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ensar Kayı but with some difficulty. Emin Ortun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arif Bilge Arslanoğlu went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, Arif Bilge Arslanoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emin Ortun was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 81 minutes into the match, NewMollaCity's goal looked a bit too open when Yahya Eski came free, but Ensar Kayı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Servet Arınç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emin Ortun having to interfere. In the 97th minute of the match, Kemalettin Işıklar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ensar Kayı saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
