Metehan-Andac Özlü recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mirkelam Toktahan made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Zürich's Cumhur Songur. Ercüment Tetiker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of İsmail Hakkı İlcan's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Çorum FK's goal looked a bit too open when Metehan-Andac Özlü came free, but Ercüment Tetiker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Baskın Kocay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. İsmail Hakkı İlcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ercüment Tetiker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsmail Hakkı İlcan in the 24th minute of the match. Batu Cem Nabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ercüment Tetiker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ercüment Tetiker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsmail Hakkı İlcan in the 37th minute of the match. When Mirkelam Toktahan fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Çorum FK's protests and gave Mirkelam Toktahan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Zürich booed when Çorum FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirkelam Toktahan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melik Akdemirci missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 40 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ercüment Tetiker right hand side. Ercüment Tetiker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metehan-Andac Özlü, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Çorum FK got a freekick which was hit by Bahattin Tülek. FC Zürich's İsmail Hakkı İlcan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 48th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Çorum FK. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Nasir Satır stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. İsmail Hakkı İlcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. After having played for 76 minutes, İsmail Hakkı İlcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Zürich's supporters crossed their fingers, but İsmail Hakkı İlcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Halil Can Zaik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Çorum FK's Ahmet Nasir Onuker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Hamit Köklem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. FC Zürich's attentive Melik Akdemirci managed to snatch the ball when Mirkelam Toktahan made a throw-in in the 94th minute of the game. FC Zürich's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
