Mustafa Namık Bircan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Soner Taşan in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Van's zone, Şeray Sabir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Nihat Tarık came out of the goal and Şeray Sabir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Namık Bircan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Soner Taşan in the 10th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Cevahir Tanyolaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Atakan Rafetoğulları shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Nihat Tarık saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match Hilmi Togan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arif Nihat Tarık showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Şeray Sabir scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arif Nihat Tarık, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FREKANS CLUP's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Bayındır Rafet scored to the left of an out of position Mustafa Namık Bircan, making the score, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şeray Sabir made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, FREKANS CLUP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samir Kuray to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes of play, FREKANS CLUP's Atakan Rafetoğulları made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arif Nihat Tarık was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Avni Candeğer fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Van's protests and gave Avni Candeğer a yellow card for diving instead. Avni Candeğer kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Soner Taşan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Öztürk İhsan hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Şeray Sabir who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Van's Arif Nihat Tarık was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Van's Soner Taşan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Namık Bircan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arif Nihat Tarık was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Atakan Rafetoğulları capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Atakan Rafetoğulları really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atakan Rafetoğulları got free with Arif Nihat Tarık in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atakan Rafetoğulları received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Arif Nihat Tarık tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mustafa Namık Bircan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Olcay in the 96th minute of the match. The FREKANS CLUP supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FREKANS CLUP would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
