The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tanju Arslantürk in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rasim Hürmetli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 12th minute, Tanju Arslantürk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rasim Hürmetli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tanju Arslantürk in the 14th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Ahmet İlhan Avcı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mikail Kavi. AKYAKA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet İlhan Avcı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. AKYAKA's Mikail Kavi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafer Osmanoğulları in the 30th minute of play. Ecevit Berat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mikail Kavi. AKYAKA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Korkut Sacid struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Rasim Hürmetli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKYAKA. 37 minutes into the match, Tanju Arslantürk dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rasim Hürmetli, 1-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 78th minute Tanju Arslantürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasim Hürmetli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute, Kamuran Okyay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kamuran Okyay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Tanju Arslantürk sped through 1930 Bafraspor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rasim Hürmetli.
